ARLINGTON, VA – Apextech LLC earned a #2 ranking on the Washington Business Journal’s list of Washington’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2016. The Washington Business Journal announced the rankings at their annual awards banquet on Oct. 27, 2016.

The list ranking comes from averaging the percent change in revenue from 2013 to 2014 and the percent change from 2014 to 2015. Apextech had an average percent change of 195.11%, making it the second fastest growing company in the Washignton, DC, area. In order to qualify for the list, companies must be headquartered in the Washington area, have no parent company and have generated at least $2 million in revenue in 2013 and $10 million in 2015 to qualify for the list.

The Army HR Solutions office has awarded Apextech the ROTC Instruction and Support Services Consulting contract. It marks a significant win for Apextech and their teaming partner, Comtech (Communication Technologies) Ltd. This award also creates a significant geographical reach for the company and establishes a new office location near Fort Knox, Kentucky, where the Army Cadet Command is located.
“This contract creates a game-changing scenario for our company,” said Fred Persi, a managing partner with Apextech. “We are very pleased to be able to serve the Army’s Cadet Command in this manner and look forward to working with the staff in achieving their missions.”
The ROTC contract provides training to students at over 284 universities, military academies and colleges across the United States and in the Virgin Islands.

Apextech has been awarded a new task as a subcontracting partner under Alion’s Navy SeaPort contract within the CFO Office of the PEO IWS. This task engages the company’s expertise in the implementation of their data analytics tool. The initiative kicks off this month and continues into government fiscal year 2015. With successful implementation, the PEO IWS will have ease in data reviews and retrieval for leadership and every executive layer of PEO. The tool employs a dashboard mechanism for decision making and also provides drill down details of all data points.

Apextech has received multiple awards on several task orders under their 8(a) STARS II Contract in support of several IT and resource management initiatives at the USDA ARS location in Beltsville, Maryland. Our first awards occur this month with several awards to follow leading up to fiscal year 2014 end. Apextech is pleased to have Planet Technologies as their teaming partner on many of these task orders. This work encompasses new areas of expertise for the company, specifically in Oracle environments, network operations and cybersecurity. Additional tasks include studies and analysis of the resource management environments and an extensive SharePoint migration initiative.
